Visualizing Scientific Disciplines on the Web

چکیده
A novel interface design approach is presented for navigating and exploring salient intellectual structures inherited in scientific literature. We describe the development of a 3-dimensional knowledge space based on domain modelling and analysis. This is a generic and extensible approach. It demonstrates the potential of a novel interface design metaphor for tracking research frontiers in scientific domains.
